I'm so excited to release my online summer collection, Summer Bodies, on July 10th at 10am central time!!ย

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธSummer Bodies - Shop Drop Info!!!โ˜€๏ธ๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผ

Iโ€™m so excited to announce that my Summer 2026 Collection - Summer Bodies - will be released on Friday, July 10th at 10am, central time here on my website, slowlifepottery.com!!!!!

Details about the drop:

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธThe online store will open at 10am sharp, central time on Friday 7/10. It will be open for 24 hours or while supplies last, closing at 10am, Saturday 7/11.

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธI will post a preview of items on my website this coming week before the store opens and announce that preview on Instagram so you can do some window shopping first. I plan to pause everything at 9:30am on the day of the sale (7/10) to get ready to go live (the preview will disappear), and then I will open the virtual doors promptly at 10am.ย

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธThis is a small batch and Iโ€™ve had a bunch of inquiries, so I would recommend getting online at exactly 10am on the 10th and checking out quickly if you have your eye on something special (it could also be that nothing sells and I have a lot of pots for later ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผ๐Ÿ˜†). Putting an item in your cart does not hold it for you - only checking out will ensure that itโ€™s yours. I am happy to reimburse shipping overages if you make multiple purchases and I am able to combine packages for shipping.

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธFor some designs, you will see multiple pieces that are available with that design (for example, there are 3 of many mug designs in this batch). Each piece is sold individually, but you are welcome to buy multiples/sets too. I will indicate how many of each piece will be available in the product description so you can plan ahead.ย

๐Ÿคธ๐Ÿผโ˜€๏ธI will try to get shipments out by Monday 7/13 so that packages get to you quickly! Everything will ship through USPS. Local pick up is also available for anyone in Nashville who wants to save shipping costs.ย

Questions, comments, concerns??
After lots of big hurdles in 2026 (winter storms, back injuries, etc), this small but mighty batch of pots feels really special and really meaningful. I hope you love these pieces as much as I have loved making them. Happy summer, friends, from my heart to your home! ย  ย  ย  ย  ย  ย ย

  • Usage

While all of my work is oven, microwave, and dishwasher tolerant, please be mindful to avoid thermal shock (sudden intense changes in temperature). For example, moving pieces from the freezer and quickly popping them into a very hot oven is not recommended (instead, heat slowly from room temp). In the same way, it is safe to use pieces briefly in the microwave, but I recommend only short intervals of 30 seconds to 1 minute to avoid uneven, intense heat.

  • Materials

All glazes are verified non-toxic, lead-free, and food safe.

My clay body is a groggy stoneware that is fully vitrified at cone 5. I fire to a hot cone 6/cool cone 7. Any exposed clay in the design is verified food safe.

  • Returns/Exchanges

My ability to return/exchange is very limited. Every piece is made by hand and fired in small batches. Unique differences are inherent in this process. While I sometimes offer multiples of a design or "sets", each individual vessel is unique and truly one-of-a-kind. Thanks for celebrating the perfect imperfections inherent in this work.

  • Shipping

All items are shipped through FedEx or USPS. Through USPS, you can choose either Ground Advantage, which is slightly cheaper and slower (3-5 business days), or Priority Mail, which is slightly more expensive and faster (1-3 business days).

Local pickup is also available in the Nashville area.
